If you are visiting Watersketch toolbox for the first time, here are some practical information of its contents and using it.
Main menu is located on the left side of the page. It contains a lot of information of river basin and of their sustainable management. It is recommended that the visitors with very basic level knowledge of waters and their management should start the exploring of the toolbox from this menu. You can click any headline in the menu, and the front page of the headline will open on the main frame in the middle of the page. By clicking the plus sign in the front of the headline, sub-level menu headlines will become visible.
Drop-down menus
On the top of the page are drop-down menus. This part of the toolbox is targeted mainly for river basin managers, planners and authorities responsible for river basin planning. You can find there six practical tools applicable in different tasks of planning and management. There is also a lot of information of the European environmental legislation concerning water. In addition, information of the implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive with guidelines for how to promote participation of the public in river basin planning processes can be found here. Under the Library menu you can find the main published outcomes of the Watersketch project. Finally, case studies carried out in Watersketch project and their main findings are presented.
